a few days ago a new 16:9 widescreen LCD monitor purchased, which you can also use it as a TV. It is the Samsung SyncMaster 2333HD including DVB-T tuner. A budget model, but unfortunately with an annoying background noise that is particularly noticeable at night. After some searching and trying I was able to lower the noise by adjusting the image options in the device, the backlight on the value 9 or 10.
Sorry but I notice I still have a starting unbearable noise from the rear of the unit. Therefore, I will in the next few days the SyncMaster 2333HD back exchange and to give the successor Samsung SyncMaster P2370HD . Costs a lot more and enjoy, in contrast to only 2333HD via HDMI interface, but should cause, according to Internet reports, no annoying background noise.
